DOING FINE

Well I don't have my childhood

Or the youth I once did know,

But I sure do have my well-being

To take anywhere I go.

Of memories I've got my share -

More joyous ones than sad,

Survived through many thick and thin

And haven't done too bad.

My road has sure been rocky -

Many challenges I had to face,

But some folks have no road at all

They stand in the same old place.

For now I'll keep me moving on -

And always tow the line,

I've no complaints of any worth

I guess I'm doing fine.
