THE REAL ME

Oh, my name is nothing

My age it means less,

The place that I come from

It has no address

The things that I know

Don't show on my face

And where I frequent

Is some other place.

You think that you know me -

Well think once again,

One time I was someone

But that was then.

I am what I am

And that is a fact,

Sometimes I let loose

But am always intact.

The people I know

Don't know me at all,

I look to the ground

But always walk tall.

Life's an illusion

and dying is real

The person within me

Is the person I feel.
