Message: I hope those rude people go away. This is a family site and let's keep it that way please. Some of my charges here at the E.A. FitzPAtrick home for Widowed and Orphaned men are bewildered enough without some of those writings appearing. I have been inundated with Fianna Failer's trying to escape here for the summer Dail recess, alas none had any spare cash. I can tel you MM and his missus Lady Erin are enjoying their honeymoon in the Nevada desert. They are camping.

Message: Is it true that the iron man triathalon in Haiwaii is called after the metal-man triathalon in Rosses point. This was always a great event and a magnet for the tourists. The continuity metal-man might scare them away and should be confined to his bunker. There could be a line-up for the real metal-man identity parade as obviously there's more than the original three now and the rest are probably made in Taiwan.

Message: Read the story of the shipwreck Eldorado. Live in Chisasibi on the mainland now, formerly Fort George, approx. 14 miles from the shipwreck site. This happened 51 years before I was born. I have seen other shipwrecks out on some of the smaller islands, but with smaller wrecks. Are there any others I haven't read about?

Herself is in the family way. . . would you be a Godmother to the statuette? There are many nice places to stay in the Point. You could always camp on Oyster or Coney. We will have a drink in Austie's to wet the child's head. And we had a scan ...it is to be a girl and we intend calling her Countess Marckievicz. Love to you. Himself

Considering it may be a bit blustery in a few months, I think I'd better sleep in a hotel or B&B, not directly on the beach. Well, I'm glad I'm still in your thoughts anyway.

Kieran also tells me that he's put up a series of images by one Jack B Yeats. You can see them by clicking the link on the front page. There's also a new picture of the Eldorado on it's own page. Message: Ray McSharry is to lead Fianna Fail into the next general election. At a secret meeting in a Dublin Hotel after the All Ireland Final on Sunday, the leaders of FF were successful in having Mac take on the job. Ellis will resign his Sligo/Leitrim seat in two weeks from today and this will result in a by-election. It is felt that MacSharry can bring some honesty to the face of Fianna Fail! Bertie will contest the following Presidental election. Of course when Mac is appointed Taoiseach, every gobshite in Sligo will be appointed to boards. Austie Gillen will more than likely be Chairman of the Fisheries Board, God help us and the fish!
